Update on Most Recent Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) Local Activity

• During week 50 (December 11 to December 17), 8.33% of Marion County ED visits had ILI symptoms. This rate was lower than last week (9.50%). The median percent of ILI-related ED visits for week 50 in the last five years (2018-2022) was 2.79%.

• In Marion County hospitals, 5-17 years old had the highest rate (15.88%) of ILI related ED Visits. This rate is lower than the last week (17.44%). The median percent of 5-17 years old ILI-related ED visits for week 50 over the last five years was 4.5%.

(Week 49)

• The percentage of ILI-related ED visits was 9.5% out of all ED visits.

• In Marion County hospitals, 5-17 years old had the highest rate (17.44%) of ILI related ED Visits.
